It’s also worth important to note that the County Clerk’s Office tends to have an online database you can search. You can enter the address into the search tool, and anything public will be available. However, this isn’t true for every jurisdiction, so keep that in mind. 4. Tax Assessor’s Office 

The local Tax Assessor’s Office is another great choice when you want to find someone by address. You can usually visit the local tax assessor’s office in your county and learn more about the owner of an address. In fact, this can be done in person, online, and even by mail in some counties. 

That said, the information you’ll get about the owner of an address from a county tax assessor isn’t that great. The most you’ll usually be given is the name of the property taxpayer. You won’t find information about all residents of the home or even how to contact them. 

For these reasons, you’re better off starting with an address lookup tool or Google first. Doing so will at least ensure that you end up at the right Tax Assessor’s Office; this way, you don’t have to bounce around to different locations to find what you’re looking for.

5. Private Investigator 

Last but not least, you can hire a private investigator (PI). A PI should have no problem helping you find someone by address. All you have to do is provide them with the details and let them do their thing.

While it may take longer than using Google or public records search tools, the results tend to be accurate and more detailed. For people who need to learn a lot about someone, you can’t go wrong with a PI.
