Obama and Biden Reunite for Lunch in DC

Former President Barack Obama was spotted grabbing lunch with his vice president, Joe Biden, on Monday. The pair was photographed together at the Dog Tag Bakery in Georgetown. The bakery tweeted, "Look who stopped by Dog Tag Bakery for lunch today! Thank you, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, for supporting our mission of empowering veterans with service-connected disabilities, military spouses, and military caregivers!"

The Dog Tag Bakery, whose motto is "baking a difference," employs veterans, military spouses, and caregivers in order to provide them with valuable work experience. A five-month fellowship program which combines work experience with Georgetown University education results in a "living business school" that helps veterans and their families bridge the gap to successfully re-enter the civilian world.

It's no secret that Obama and Biden are the best of friends, inspiring many memes over the years.  Biden even gave the former president a friendship bracelet in honor of his 55th birthday in 2016, posting a picture on Twitter along with the caption, "A brother to me, a best friend forever." Since leaving the White House, Obama's chief of staff Anita Decker Breckenridge has noted, "The bromance continues. It's not ended."

Obama followed Biden's lead in ordering the ham and cheese sandwich for lunch, as well as a fennel salad and a slice of cake. The two shook hands with restaurant staff and customers alike, and Obama even struck a yoga pose when he learned that one woman is a yogi. Joe Biden is currently considering a 2020 presidential run, which he plans to decide on by January.
