Your Dog's New Favorite Toy

Have you ever been rushing to get out the door in the morning while at the same time your dog is desperately trying to convince you to play a game of fetch? Or maybe you're trying to do homework or finish a work presentation only to have your dog eagerly dropping his ball in your lap? While we love our furry friends and adore playing with them, sometimes they don't choose the most convenient time to start a game of fetch, and unfortunately dogs don't always understand the concept of "later." Luckily, there is a toy on the market that won't leave you feeling guilty or your pooch feeling deprived.

The iFetch Too is an automatic ball launcher that results in an entertaining game of fetch for your dog.  It works with standard size tennis balls (every dog's favorite!) and comes with three included. You will have to train your dog to return to the ball to the top of the iFetch, which will then shoot it out for your dog to chase again and again. There are four distance settings on the iFetch Too: 10 feet, 25 feet, 40 feet, or random. You can set the distance to one that is suitable to your living space. The rechargeable battery can be used for up to about 300 throws before it needs to be recharged. Additionally, because the battery is rechargeable and it does not need to be plugged into an outlet to function, you can easily take the iFetch Too with you outside for your dog to play with.

It may take a few training sessions for your dog to get used to the iFetch Too and to understand the concept. The iFetch website includes training videos and tips.  There is an iFetch Original that is intended for smaller dogs as it comes with mini tennis balls, however some reviewers note that these balls fall apart quickly and are expensive to replace, plus could be a choking hazard. The iFetch Too can work with regular tennis balls which reviewers found more durable. One thing to note is that if the ball gets very slobbery and wet, the iFetch has a more difficult time tossing it so you may need to replace it with a fresh, dry tennis ball. Your dog will be happy, entertained, and get some exercise while you focus on other things that need your attention when you use the iFetch Too.
